This site was created and is maintained by Paul Schappaugh, son of Beverly Kay Schappaugh.

Beverly Kay Schappaugh was murdered on June 18, 1990 in Valdosta, Georgia. The newspapers that covered her death predate the internet. Her story is not findable online. Searches return nothing. Thirty six years later that absence is no longer acceptable.

This site exists to preserve a permanent, factual, and publicly searchable record of her life and death. It presents only what is documented and verifiable. It is not a forum for speculation or commentary.

All records presented here are either official documents or contemporaneous public reporting. Sources and provenance are identified for every artifact published on this site.
